Theme: Celebrating the Festival of Harvest.

Activity: Introducing to the students to the story of King Mahabali, the significance of Onam as a harvest festival, and the different rituals and traditions associated with it.

Narration: In AKV Public School, CBSE, on behalf of the Social Science Department - this cultural celebration was organized by the Heritage Club for the entire CBSE School, to embark the rich and traditional celebration of Harvesting festival of Kerala with the variety of cultural dances and creating Pookalam (flower rangoli), to teach children about the history and significance of the festival, with our school-administrative members, teaching, non - teaching staffs and with the children.
